On long-distance sailing or ocean racing boats prove that sitting on level surfaces minimises fatigue. Together with 360ยฐ horizon visibility and natural ventilation, it significantly improves comfort and reduces seasickness. For this reason, we have developed a lightweight, carbon gimbaled saloon settee, which rotates along the longitudinal axis and compensates for the boat's heel. What is a gimbaled settee?
