During our Greenland sailing adventure, we sailed along the Ikateq Channel to the end of the Sermiligaaq Fjord, reaching the stunning Karale and Knud Rasmussen glaciers. We navigated along the edge of the glacier to get a closer look at this breathtaking natural wonder, discovering towering mountains and crystal-clear icebergs in perfect harmony with the serenity of nature. Previously based in Pompano Beach, Florida, the blimp arrived in Los Angeles in September 2015 to replace the retired Spirit of America blimp at the Goodyear Airship Operations Base in Carson, Calif. It's not uncommon to see it over the southern California coastline.
