Soaked, smiling, and stepping ashore. I actually like the rain, but later today a gale is going to glow and I have writing to do so I am moving my `writing room` ashore this morning to Mitsu`s house which is near the boat. Life on a sailboat means embracing the weather, the waves, and the occasional soaking. Whether you're provisioning, exploring, or just stretching your legs, shore missions always come with a story. We made an awesome cockpit enclosure for out sailing yacht so we could protect our kids from sun, rain and wind. It also holds some huge solar panels. It adds comfort and safety when sailing and looks great too.
