🇬🇧Restless, turbulent, tense, insecure are some of the moods we (can) deal with as human beings. At least I do. Like the wind as I was experiencing now, it went everywhere and nowhere. In 4 hours fluctuating from little, none, a lot, none etc. If I want to move forward I have to adjust to the wind. Sail out, in, out, on one side, then on the other, then both open, in again, etc but getting to destination I do even though it takes most of my time. When as a person I also feel so unstable, unsettled I actually deal with it the same way. I adapt, tell myself it's okay to feel this way even though it can be unpleasant at times but I always keep a positive mindset going forward because it's like wind that then turns making you move forward again. Never give up! Nooit opgeven! Positief blijven en 'go with the flow'❤️

Croats love it when visitors make the effort to learn their language. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to say you can speak two languages! Before we get started, let it be known that Croatian is a really tough language to learn – everyone will tell you it’s a complicated language to master, given that accents and feminine/masculine nouns are involved. But, like anything that you set your mind to, when you achieve it, it feels good! Here are some basic phrases to get you started on your journey to mastering the Croatian language: English: Hello Croatian: Bok Sounds Like: Bohk English: How are you? Croatian: Kako ste? Sounds Like: kah-koh steh? English: Do you speak English? Croatian: Govorite li engleski? Sounds Like: goh-voh-ree-teh lee en-glees-kee English: Please Croatian: Molim Sounds Like: moh-leem English: A beer/coffee/tea, please Croatian: Pivo/kavu/čaj, molim Sounds Like: PEE-voh/KAH-voo/CH-ay MOH-leem If you're more of a visual learner, check out our blog with more information on basic Croatian phrases to get you started: https://www.sail-croatia.com/set-sail/resource/basic-croatian-phrases
