Esta preciosa Goleta se dedicaba a el chárter con turistas navegando a la antigua con dos grandes mástiles de madera. Este tipo de barcos son conocidos en inglés como Tall Ships. Desgraciadamente tuvo un problema, al parecer con una válvula de un pasa cascos, aunque inicialmente se pensó que un tablón de madera había reventado. Todo una pena y desgracia para su dueño y para el precioso velero en si. The priority for maintaining optimal VMG downwind in waves is to continue surfing. When required to gybe, whether due to your orientation to the course, tactics or wind change - maintaining speed on a wave is critical. Surfing keeps you moving down the course while completing the maneuver. The trick is to initiate surfing by doing a roundup. This allows you to bring extra sheet tension in while accelerating which allows you to gybe on a much deeper angle - hence maintaining connection on the wave.
