That's probably the most common mistake new sailors do when med Mooring. After stopping the boat, instead of getting into neutral, they just drop to dead slow forward, and that results the boat to exit the slot and completely ruin a successful approach. If you want to learn more about maneuvers follow the channel and write what is your biggest fear/obstacle when med mooring. #sailing #greece #sailingtips #maneuvering #docking #navigation #knots #course

For years the Filicudi WildLife Conservation Association has been involved in research applied to the conservation of cetaceans and sea turtles in the Aeolian Archipelago. A lot of the work is the outcome of the incredible collaboration with public and private research institutions and many Italian universities. In this video we see what the researchers and volunteers from the Association spot on a regular basis, luckily, more often recently than before: dolphins in the northern part of Sicily, by the Archipelago. This video is part of an interview with Chiara Bruno, researcher and co-founder at the Filicudi Wildlife Conservation Association. You can read the full interview with Chiara in the first issue of our digital magazine Magister Navis here: https://sailogy.com/en/magazine Enjoy the read!
