Our first washing day since we connected the first solar panels :-) We have ended with more in the batteries than we started the day despite multiple loads of washing and spin drying, doing the washing up (between them and drinks boiling the kettle on the induction hob at least 6 times), and running my computer (mini desktop with 40" screen). We are now living aboard our Rival 38 Centre Cockpit full-time while finishing a refit so we can launch ASAP. The Elan 37 Hindsight made a good recovery after a slow start to chase down the J109 Going to Red a couple of minutes into the racing out of the Quoile Yacht Club. Hindsight gybe shortly after this to split the course with the rest of the fleet, this turned out be a smart move as they headed for the counter tide on the Portaferry shore of Strangford lough. They did not look great early as the rest of the fleet stayed high and in pressure, as the leg went on it became clear that they would lead at the Bottom Mark. Hindsight stretched out to a lead by over over two minutes, GTR fort hard on the next beat to chase the leader down, going on to win the race. To actually get footage and go down and just physically be there was pretty amazing I'm really glad that we did We ended up finding some good reefs in the area and ended up shooting a few fish for dinner
