We were at Rudder Cut Cay, near David Copperfield's private island, Musha Cay, where we found The Musician, a sculpture of a mermaid at a stainless steel grand piano, commissioned by David Copperfield and sunk in 13 feet of water for his guests to discover. Passengers onboard our Silversonic dive and snorkel vessel and Pro Dive Cairns Liveaboard vessel had rare whale shark encounters within days of each other at Turtle Bay on the Agincourt reefs (Silversonic) and at Flynn Reef off Cairns (Pro Dive Cairns). The spectacular whale shark sighting encountered by Silversonic's passengers and crew measured around 6m in length and was travelling slowly in a north west direction.
