Still in shock how @georgmoeller slid across the deck to save my drone from hitting the water. A few seconds later and it would have been gone I had a tloater attached, but the problem is it takes a few minutes to take down the sails, start the motor and turn the boat by then the drone would be long gone between the waves. It feels weird to celebrate this win when I’m still in the thick of grief. But here I am, at the tail end of this big refit project. I don’t know what I’m going to do next. I can really only look about 3 days ahead, and even that is a challenge, but I’m doing my best to care for myself while I mend my heart. I may go into Canada. I may bop around the San Juan Islands. The only thing I know for certain: I need to be in nature. I need to be in the water. So, I will head out this week. #scubadiver #boatrestoration #griefrecovery
