Victor Poulin (whose channel you should visit if you LOVE boomerags...) called it "Mess" from the description of the early project... What will he think now? What do you think now? How to tie the Anchor hitch. ▫️ Also known as an Anchor Bend although that's a bit of a misnomer. This can be used to fasten a line to an Anchor, a warp to an Anchor chain or to tie your tender off onto a ring at the dock. Careful, it can jam, but it should be fine under moderate loads. ▫️ It's similar to a round turn and 2 half hitches except you tuck the working line through the loop of the turns giving you more friction and a stronger hold. Finish it off with a half hitch. ▫️ Add an extra turn at the beginning if you like. Why not?
