What's inside your hull? Think again. Balsa core might be cheap and easy, but it absorbs water and can turn your dream boat into a nightmare. Upgrade to foam core for durability, safety, and peace of mind. Don't let hidden flaws sink your adventure! 🌊🌟 #multihullsailing #NEELtrimarans #cruisinglife #sailing #Nautitechcatamarans #McConaghyBoats #LuxuryYachts #shorts

Whitsunday Escape has a new boat, a Leopard 44, and one of the brilliant features on it that make boating easy, is the automatic raising and lowering of the dinghy. The dinghy is slipped into davits at the back of the boat, and all you have to do is press a button to either raise it out of the water, or put it in the water. Simple!

During those rare, uneventful passages—the ones where the boat behaves, the seas behave, and even the coffee behaves—you’d think a skipper could kick back, relax, and watch the world drift by. But no. The moment things get quiet, the skipper brain wakes up like a toddler at 3 a.m. and starts whispering, “Hey… did you notice that thing that needs fixing? And that other thing? And that other other thing?” Before you know it, the peaceful passage has turned into a floating scavenger hunt of future chores. That’s how every skipper’s “To Do” list is born. It starts the day you buy the boat and it will outlive you, your children, and possibly the boatyard itself. This was our short list of “Moments in Time” tasks waiting for us back in Solomons. The good news: we knocked out the whole list. The bad news: naturally, a brand new list immediately spawned in its place. On a boat, the To Do list is like a hydra—check off one item and two more grow back. But hey… that’s boating. And we wouldn’t trade it for anything. Subscribe and share in our adventure! For more boat videos, visit www.boats.com. It's rare we test a bay boat, and find that it has each and every ideal trait we covered in Bay Boat Battles: What Makes One Better Than Another. It's even more rare we decide to run a bay boat 10 miles outside of the inlet, and stay out there for hours. And it's beyond rare that we'd do so on a day when it was blowing 15 knots and three to four foot swells were rolling through the ocean. Yet when we heard there was a hot bite going off we pointed the bow east, ran through the open sea, and fished out there long enough to catch a slew of cobia, bonito, and kingfish. Just how did it feel to be aboard Pathfinder's 2600 HPS Bay Crusher? A picture may be worth 1,000 words but the video you're about to watch is worth just one: awesome.
