Designed for worldwide exploration, the 57 ton displacement yacht offers an exceptional cruising range of approximately 3,500 nautical miles at an 8-knot economical speed. The vessel is highly owner-operator friendly, designed with minimal crew requirements in mind. A Dockmate radio remote control system, paired with dual forward bow thrusters and a stern thruster, allows for precise and easy maneuvering even with a short-handed crew. The architecture also provides two aft crew cabins located behind the engine room. In an owner-operator configuration, these cabins are easily convertible to provide additional utility, workshop, or storage space. Emphasizing energy independence, the yacht is equipped with dual Cummins Onan generators (27 kW and 11 kW). Going to run it 2 hours and change the oil again (because of the fuel that got into the oil). Still need to install new fuel lift pump. Still need to change the fuel lift pump. I realize not all of the items affected the problem but I'm mentioning them anyway for good measure. Sep 7-9, 2018. I was sailing from Orange Beach to Clearwater and onto who-knows-where. Fri, Sep 7th, leg was Orange Beach to Destin. Sat & Sun leg was Destin to Clearwater (48 hour Gulf Crossing). We had some engine troy ke after we left Destin. Seatow towed us 10 hours back to Orange Beach. 1988 Island Packet 27 in Orange Beach, AL Please subscribe to this channel.
