Regular viewers will know one of the things we've always wanted to do is moor the boat in winter in a place where we could easily go skiing. We came very close during our winter in Venice with the snow capped Dolomite mountains always in view from our mooring. Sadly that year we were scuppered by Covid which kept the ski resorts in the Alps closed all winter. Well this year we've cracked it! Porto Montenegro is a 2 hour drive to Kolasin, a really nice little skiing town high in the picturesque mountains, what's even better is the marina has their own ski chalet which we can book free of charge!

Everyone comes for Komodo. But beyond the dragons lies a journey through remote islands, vibrant reefs, hidden waterfalls, and communities that continue traditions shaped by the sea. Over 9 days and 8 nights, we followed ancient sailing routes across Eastern Indonesia, waking to new horizons each morning and ending each day beneath unforgettable sunsets. We swam alongside manta rays and whale sharks, planted coral through Sailing for Good, explored volcanic landscapes, and experienced moments that reminded us how much of the world still feels wonderfully wild. ⚓ Until the next voyage. #KomodoAndBeyond #KomodoNationalPark #SailingIndonesia #ExploreIndonesia #LiveaboardIndonesia #IslandExpedition #AdventureTravel #HiddenIndonesia #OceanJourney #SeaTrek #MantaRays #WhaleSharks #SailingForGood Begin your incredible adventure with SeaTrek right here: 🗺 Schedule | https://www.seatrekbali.com/schedule/ ⛵️ Website | https://www.seatrekbali.com 📚 SeaTrekker Magazine | https://www.seatrekbali.com/seatrekker-magazine/ 📧 Contact Us | info@seatrekbali.com 𝗪𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨! Tow ropes can be super dangerous. You might think that a barge is self propelled and not notice the tow rope from the tug ahead. These are in the ocean as well as rivers and other waterways. It is an easy mistake to miss. Sometimes the ropes can be very long.
