Notte a motore, che significa notte di riposo. 😴 Eh si, unpopolar opinion: niente vento significa niente onde, che significa barca ferma e sonno assicurato 😄 Comunque l’alba arriva in fretta, e con lei un filo di vento. Prima genoa, poi gennaker. Manteniamo una media di 140 miglia al giorno circa. Con il gennaker manteniamo comunque i nostri dignitosissimi 5 nodi di velocità. Domenica di riposo, di giochi di società, di chiacchiere e relax. Qualcuno legge, qualcun altro sonnecchia, altri due ancora sistemano cose (oggi il tangone). I prossimi due giorni è previsto che non siano molto diversi da oggi, poco vento e alta pressione. Noi procediamo verso nord-est, inseguendo il vento, seppur godendoci ugualmente uno scorcio di vita un po’ più lenta. Buona domenica a tutti ⛵️💙 C.

Ragazzi oggi un programma con i fiocchi. Mattina rilassata e pomeriggio in deriva. Carmelo sta ultimando una cosina per lanciarsi in una splendida avventura che avrà presto inizio. Così al mattino si dedica alle ultime rifiniture prima , mentre il pomeriggio ci mette a disposizione il suo Laser 2. L’aria non è molta, ma giusta per divertirci. Cami non era mai andata in deriva e io e Jack non ci andavamo insieme almeno da 10 anni. Un’esperienza spettacolare. Penso che con Cami, una volta tornati, faremo qualche regata in deriva, ci si è accesa una fiammella di desiderio nell’allenarci insieme e prepararci per regatare. Ma ogni cosa a suo tempo, oggi ci siamo divertiti. Uscire in deriva è completamente diverso dal tenere in mano la ruota di Julia. Tutto è più veloce, più immediato. La scotta randa è in una mano, senti subito la pressione di aria che si fa più intensa. Il modo migliore per imparare ad andare in barca a vela. Finita l’uscita invitiamo Carmelo e Livia (la sua ragazza) a cena. Chiacchieriamo, mangiamo e ci scambiamo le nostre rispettive storie. Una giornata piacevole. Un sabato che non poteva darci di più. Seeking to ride a powerful wave of events motivated by the celebration of the shipyard’s 40th anniversary, Lagoon organized a world premiere event at home, at one of the Bordeaux yard’s platforms, where all models over 50 feet are built. The waterfront event was intended to be festive and even celebratory, with the presence of former international basketball player Boris Diaw, the brand’s ambassador. Lagoon also took the opportunity to showcase their full range of 40 to 77-foot yachts, both afloat and ashore. In terms of outline, the new 60-foot model, as ever signed by VPLP, presents a silhouette relatively similar to that of the 55, except that the sail plan uses the overlapping genoa of the latest 51. The main innovation on deck concerns the aft cockpit, literally transformed into a beach club by eliminating the traditional bench seat. This enormous surface area is further enlarged by an aft platform and fold-down bulwarks. As for relaxation space, the forward cockpit and huge flybridge, equipped with a full galley, are not to be outdone. For the interior, the designers have managed to ensure totally flush circulation from one cockpit to the other, including of course the nacelle - a floor without steps, and that changes everything!
