This catamaran will therefore be crossing the oceans as deck cargo - it is approved in CE Category C (Beaufort Force 6 and maximum wave heights of 2 meters or 6½ feet). In addition to its genoa, the HopYacht is powered by two 6 kW E-Propulsion pods, equivalent to 9.9 HP regular motors, but without pollution or noise of course. With the adoption of an induction cooker and an electric water heater, no fossil fuels will be consumed on board. The interior, not dissimilar to what you’d find in the riverboat sector, is surprisingly comfortable for a unit of this size. Vandenberg offers one of the largest artificial reefs in the world. This WWII-era troop transport and missile-tracking ship sits in 165 ft/50 m and rises to 55 ft/17 m, the equivalent of 11 Stories tall offering an amazing playground for divers seeking unique wild life encounters.
