So grateful for this life! Whales, dolphins, fresh fish and amazing sunsets every day! 9 years ago every single person around me said I was crazy sailing 2000nm from the Netherlands to Ibiza in winter on a 28ft boat with no experience. Experienced sailors said I wouldn’t even make it to Belgium (our neighbor country) And look at my life now. Still no money on my account (16 dollars now to be honest) but I wouldn’t want to chance my life for anything. I’ve got the most beautiful house to travel the world with, meeting amazing people daily and have adventures and experiences that no money can’t buy. Big shout out to all my sponsors that make it possible to pay for my boat maintenance so I can safely cross oceans and replace materials and products that the salt water and sun love to destroy. I think and appreciate you every day looking at my beautiful sails. (I still have two big spots left on the Genoa if anyone is interested) Have a amazing day everyone and know that you can change your life for the good every day. No matter what other people say. Nobody knows your struggles or pain like you do, nobody know what makes you happy but you. So follow your guts, go for that dream, aim to become the most happy version of yourself!

The J109 is a fantastic racer - cruiser competitive across all wind ranges they are super stable in big breeze which allows you to drive the boat hard even when the puffs are above 20 knots. Come on board Bottom up Boats J109 "Going to Red" in race 1 of the Quoile 2 day regatta as we blast across the bottom reach at over 9 knots. With the A4 setting perfectly the crew are in complete control of the IRC 1 race. The crew is working perfectly to keep the boat flat and fast while setting up for the drop at kite at the bottom mark. The kite trimmer was making life easy for the skipper while keeping the boat at top speed, easing the kite into the puffs and trimming perfectly as the apparent wind moves forward as the boat speed build. Well done to the Redline Racing team who over came a few issue in race 2 to finish with 2 bullets after the first day Thank to the Quoile Yacht club located on the western shores of strangford lough for putting on a great day of racing. Look for more of the same tomorrow ........
