Welcome back to our long-awaited moment of the week: two new episodes of The Boat Show! This weekend we broadcast two new episodes 17 and 18 (Season 7) of The Boat Show, where we will learn new things about an innovative and technological new yacht: the Pershing 8X! its hull is built through epoxy resin infusion and its deck and coverage are carbon-based, in order to reduce its weight and improve performance. On 5th March 1936, Captain Joseph 'Mutt' Summers piloted the first Supermarine Spitfire prototype, K5054, from Eastleigh Aerodrome. To mark last week's 90th Anniversary of this event we took to the skies with Spitfire K5054. We were then joined by another Spitfire painted in 16 Squadron markings which acted as a backup. It was an honour to share the skies with these aviation legends to mark this special anniversary. Here are some screenshots from the flight.
