Alimos Marina is one of the largest marinas in Athens, shelter is excellent, space to maneuver, and good facilities around. This marina is the anchor for yacht charter companies in Athens, so it's hectic on the weekends. We visited Dartmoor Zoo - the real life inspiration for the film "We Bought A Zoo"! It is a wonderful Zoo with a whole host of animals that you don't normally get to see. Their conservation programme is excellent, and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable.
