With its attractive metallic livery, the Yot 41 was a perfect match (all things considered) for the gleaming yachts on display in Cannes' Vieux Port. Aboard the big sistership to the Yot 36, the elegant J&J Design signature is evident in the appearance, as are the well-defended hulls, whose central tunnel provides a highly effective lift/dampening effect in bigger seas. This time, the builder has opted for a bowrider-type central circulation with a forward door, to maximize the nacelle's width and take advantage of an exterior saloon. The central living area is protected by a wraparound windshield and a T-top. This is where you'll find the helm station, of course, but also the galley and saloon, and the two symmetrical cabins are located in the hulls. The aft cockpit enjoys many modular features in the spirit of the Yot 36, with tables and bench seating transformed into sunloungers and vice versa in a matter of moments. The catamaran also has fold-down side-decks, increasing the beam of the 41 from 14'9" to 19'1" (4.49 to 5.82 m) when open. A 5' x 3' (1.5 x 1 m) hydraulic platform is added at the stern. The standard powertrain features 2 powerful Mercury Verado outboard motors, each with a 400 hp V10 block. During the very first trials, the 41 reached 40 knots. We'll soon be heading for Canet-en-Roussillon to have a go for ourselves. ? Kuala Lumpur's very own China Town has everything you can wish for. For the price of a full shopping cart at Costco, you can fly here and find out for yourself! We loved the Indian restaurant, right next door to the most famous street food markets (Jalan Alor). Street art is everywhere, especially in tiny alleys. Free to tour and skillfully crafted. The second tallest building in the world is still under construction. It seems like building tall and taller is a theme here. Another day full of local color in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
