Once again, our Australian Shepherd dog Rose is finding her own entertainment as we work on our Leopard 45 catamaran in Trinidad. Last time it was water bottles, this time coconuts are her favorite toy! Luckily they're abundant around the boat, so it's easy enough to find a new one when she eventually rips it to pieces... It just goes to show that if there was ever a dog that was meant to live aboard a boat, it's her! Can't wait until we relaunch, and Rose gets to keep exploring the world by sea as the #1 good boat dog! You can see sea-turtles on just about in site in Komodo. However, there are only a few places where the turtles turn up in large numbers when they need a good scrubbing from the smaller fish who are eager to eat the algae from their shells. Just like mantas turning up over specific cleaning stations to have the parasites picked from their bodies, turtles do the same, forming a symbiotic relationship between the fish and the turtles/rays.
