The island of Carriacou is north of Grenada in the southern Caribbean. Many sailing cruisers make the Grenadines home during the hurricane season as it's low risk. Our favorite anchorage is Sandy Island or just off Paradise Beach. Alfred Mylne may have peaked when he designed the River Class over 100 years ago. The beautify old ladies of the lough make the Bottom Up Boats crew smile every time we glide by them on the race course. Her lines are timeless with her big boom holding out a main that powers her along in any conditions.
