Beneteau Oceanis 40cc (1995) Centre Cockpit cruiser, full teak decks. Owners 2 cabin 2 heads version. 55hp Volvo (2007) approx. 950hrs. Euros 65,000 Designed by renowned naval architects Group Finot and built in 1995, this well-maintained 41ft cruising yacht offers proven offshore capability combined with comfortable accommodation and numerous significant upgrades. Constructed with a white GRP hull, teak decks and cockpit, she features a fixed wing keel with seven keel bolts replaced in 2014 for a transatlantic crossing. The keel was professionally sandblasted and treated with epoxy protection and fresh antifouling in winter 2025. Powered by a reliable 55hp Volvo D2-55 diesel engine installed in 2007, with approximately 950 hours, the yacht has benefited from regular servicing throughout its life, including a comprehensive engine service in 2023. Electrical systems include 12V and 220V shore power, supported by three domestic batteries, a dedicated engine battery and solar charging. The masthead sloop rig features a Z Spars mast with standing rigging replaced in 2005, complemented by a well-equipped sail wardrobe including mainsail, genoa, staysail, spinnaker and storm sail. Sail handling is aided by a combination of manual and electric Lewmar winches. Below decks, warm wood joinery provides comfortable accommodation for up to six guests in two double cabins and the saloon. Two heads with showers, generous 500-litre water capacity, an Eno gas cooker, Waeco refrigerator and practical galley make extended cruising comfortable. On deck, equipment includes a Lewmar electric windlass, 22kg stainless CQR anchor with 55m stainless chain, sprayhood, bimini, stern davits, boarding ladder and extensive mooring equipment. Navigation equipment comprises Raymarine ST60 instrumentation, Raymarine SmartPilot autopilot, GPS, Icom VHF, SSB radio and Autohelm repeaters, providing capable offshore navigation. The package also includes a Highfield 2.9m tender with a 6hp Mercury outboard, while comprehensive safety equipment includes an EPIRB, lifejackets, fire extinguishers, manual and electric bilge pumps, radar reflector and fire blanket.
