It’s an honor to proudly unveil the hull of the first Navier 27’. This all-carbon, all-electric hydrofoiling vessel will have a range of 75 nautical miles, will fly comfortably above waves up to 4’ and introduces intelligent autonomy that goes far beyond autopilot. The Navier 27 will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this October. A sailing hydrofoil, hydrofoil sailboat, or hydrosail is a sailboat with wing-like foils mounted under the hull. As the craft increases its speed the hydrofoils lift the hull up and out of the water, greatly reducing wetted area, resulting in decreased drag and increased speed. You may have enjoyed watching foiling boats in events such as the Americas Cup and SailGP taking place around the globe and streamed to millions of viewers online! A sailing hydrofoil can achieve speeds exceeding double and in some cases triple the wind speed.
