Don’t let their cute eyes fool you! The peacock mantis #shrimp has one of the most powerful punches in the animal kingdom. Its club-like appendages can strike with the speed of a bullet, reaching up to 23 metres per second (about 50 miles per hour). This punch is so forceful that it can break through the shells of #crabs, #clams, and even aquarium glass. We're doing some boat projects and editing in Freeport. With the strong Northern wind and having to get our 5 Day Covid test this was the perfect place to be. But now free to Roam around the Bahamas we are just waiting on the weather to let us head to the Abacos. Hopefully tomorrow will be the day.
