Cool Timelapse the morning to mid-afternoon of July 5th, 2021 in SW Florida. Elsa is just south of Havana Cuba as I recorded this. This is actually a fairly small hurricane only about 150-160 miles wide so the outer edge of the storm is still a bit over 120 miles from us. It has been cool watching the clouds roll through, in, and build through the day.

Cinco dias de navegação em solitário até Vanuatu. Com ondas acima dos 3.5 metros, e ventos que chegaram aos 40 nós. Por vezes, há um chamamento que vem de dentro e me avisa que é hora de partir. Ao fim de um mês à espera de uma janela meteorológica, a previsão era tensa mas sabia que eu e o barco íamos aguentar a travessia. A chegada a Vanuatu foi uma surpresa. We recently set the GoPro up to film the planking the new LM46 performancy yacht that is under construction at Lyman-Morse in Maine. The construction of this cold-molded performance cruiser is moving along quickly — and will get you sailing quickly, too! The cold-molding process involves layering western red cedar and epoxy applied in 4 rounds, two of which are seen here. A bag is then used to create a vacuum to ensure a tight seal and draw uniform pressure across the epoxy to cure. Excited to share more as construction develops.
