Port Macdonnell is a relatively shallow bay facing the southern ocean and big swells creates a dangerous entry. After picking our path we surf a few waves before we get picked up by a larger breaking wave and end up surfing in at 21 KNOTS! We understand why we are the only sailing boat in the harbour. Mountain to fjord in the Sunnmore Alps is a trip for those of you who like the idea of touring and powder skiing in remote and untouched mountains in Norway.
