We visited Dartmoor Zoo - the real life inspiration for the film "We Bought A Zoo"! It is a wonderful Zoo with a whole host of animals that you don't normally get to see. Their conservation programme is excellent, and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Spearfishing massive Yellowtail Amberjack in Western Australia. Guess what this one weighed in at? I dove down intending to just get footage of this huge school of massive Samson Fish. But as I got level with the school, I discovered it was only the front part of a larger school. The whole back portion was many more monster Yellowtail Amberjack. I waited for a clean shot, only just missing the brain. But this shot stuck hard and my spear let me use all the leverage I wanted to so I could pull in this massive fish solo without using any floats. . .
