Just minutes into our journey, the first moored sailboat with people on it was a fellow Mark Twain Lake sailor I had met when we first started sailing Galactica. We spotted this whale a few miles off the East coast of the Isle of Arran in the Firth of Clyde in Scotland. There hasn't been a sighting of a humpback whale in the Clyde for 8 years. The sighting has been registered and has now been given the ID# SCUK106.
