Passengers onboard our Silversonic dive and snorkel vessel and Pro Dive Cairns Liveaboard vessel had rare whale shark encounters within days of each other at Turtle Bay on the Agincourt reefs (Silversonic) and at Flynn Reef off Cairns (Pro Dive Cairns). The spectacular whale shark sighting encountered by Silversonic's passengers and crew measured around 6m in length and was travelling slowly in a north west direction. During our Greenland sailing adventure, we sailed along the Ikateq Channel to the end of the Sermiligaaq Fjord, reaching the stunning Karale and Knud Rasmussen glaciers. We navigated along the edge of the glacier to get a closer look at this breathtaking natural wonder, discovering towering mountains and crystal-clear icebergs in perfect harmony with the serenity of nature.
