Oggi partono Renè, Guido e Fede. Ormai ci abbiamo fatto il callo, anche se il momento dell’arrivederci è sempre il più duro. Abbraccioni e promesse di grandi festeggiamenti al ritorno. Immaginate che festa viene su se ci troviamo tutti insieme (tutti gli equipaggi) alla stessa tavola a raccontare ognuno il pezzo di viaggio condiviso su Julia 🤩 Tornando verso il porto ci fermiamo in un bar che regala una vista piacevole. Su quelle sedie impagliate facciamo call e respiriamo aria di mare. Pranzo in barca, con filetto di lampuga pescato prima dell’arrivo. Ne abbiamo ancora una da mangiare, probabilmente riproporremo stasera lo stesso risotto mangiato ieri, che era stato SPAZIALE 🚀 Infine, programmi per il futuro. Aspettare che Eolo vada a giocare altrove. 🌬️ Ah, trovare un equipaggio per il rientro in mediterraneo 😅 A domani Cami

We've used the lids from these coolers on the integrated built in ice boxes on the boat. Also we have storage areas for these coolers to fit in the boat so you're not looking for places to store your provisions. It also allows you to take the coolers home, pack your lunch at home and then load your cooler onboard and put it in its place."

We LOVE Nando’s Peri-Peri sauce, but it's is hard to find (and pricey!) in Trinidad, so I decided to make my own version. The result; something that's smoky, spicy, tangy and full of flavour, which we can adapt to local ingredients as we sail around the work. 👉 Recipe: https://www.travelsketchsailing.com/post/homemade-nando-s-peri-peri-sauce To start, I char-grilled onions and capsicum (bell peppers) on the boat, then blended them with garlic, hot peppers, and spices. The mixture simmered then cooled before being emulsified it with oil. The result? A bright orange, homemade Peri-Peri sauce that’s just as good as Nando’s! After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we’re now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran.
