Nearly sinking our Dinghy in a squall in Falmouth! Full bags of provisions and three people were too much for our 5HP Outboard. I was laughing here but seconds after this the engine died (duh) and we quickly needed to row against the wind barely making it back to the boat. Shelley's workplace sponsored an event at the Blue Lagoon in the Lago Mar subdivision in Texas City. Wish we had captured some shots of the cute little sailboats and other water sports going on in the center! Complete with a beach area, floating cabanas, and a DJ, it was a fun day for all who came. On our way out, we took a peek at the neighborhood and found lots of cute, new houses that range in price from the 200s to the 500s. As of the summer of 2023, many are still in the construction process. Residents can enjoy the Blue Lagoon all season long. Maybe something for us to consider in a year or two...
