Hand feeding Rick Wallabies 🥕🍎 • • • One if the biggest highlights of Magnetic Island was getting to hand feed Rock Wallabies. There's SO many Wallabies on Arcadia Point living in and around the giant boulders. They are super curious and friendly and come right up to you to take food right out of your hand. There are signs around for appropriate food to feed the Wallabies and what foods not to feed these awesome animals. Charlie had such a great time feeding all the Wallabies and giving them carrots and apples. Some so-so footage of one of the seals we saw on today's outing. The seal is that black ball in the upper right portion of the frame. At about the 30 second mark he dives and you can see the shape of his body, which looks like a big fat black sausage. The footage isn't so great, but we were close enough that we could clearly make out his the features of his face, and could tell he was looking at us; probably as curious about us as we were about him!
