The crew on J109 Going to Red had some close tussles with J109 Ctrl-J during Cork Week 2024. For the most part Going to Red was faster upwind with Ctrl-J making up ground on the runs. GTR was doing all it could to slip down to leeward to stay in front of the fast charging blue spinnaker. Guadalupe is an island with many different options of things to do and going by sailboat gives you the opportunity to explore the island in depth with so many different anchorages. In total we explored 6 different anchorages, visited 2 different waterfalls, explored a place with hot water, we dove into a protected reserve, Duca went surfing and we saw a whale while leaving the last anchorage.
