We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Shortly after the start of Race 2 of the 2024 Narrow Regatta the J109 going to read was shown a clean pair of heals from a rampaging VX1 that glided by to leeward with speed. The further the VX1 punched out into the middle of the narrows the more left to right of tide she picked up, allowed her to put and and front and disappear do the the race track. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying these short clips from our 2024 racing season.
