Witness the beauty of a sailboat gracefully traversing a tranquil river, set against a backdrop of verdant trees. The J109 Going to Red was locked in a tight tussle with the Melges 24 Supersonic. With the tide pushing the boats into Strangford Lough at over 14 knots over the ground there was only meters between the boats for the first 5 minutes of racing. We will share the last video in this series shortly to give you the result. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying the short bits from the 2025 racing season, and learning a thing or two about boating.
At Rustler Yachts, we pride ourselves in our attention to detail. One area where you can see this is our shutlines; the clearance gap where doors or draws meet. These have to be perfect. A millimetre might not sound like a lot, but you’ll notice it on a wonky shutline. Not only do the shutlines have to be accounted for and made perfectly, but their spacing has to work across the grain of the wood. Some builders don’t match the grain, or they may have one line of draws deep draws that are harder to get what you need from them. We don’t want to compromise your ownership experience or the look of your boat. This is why we do things the right way, the Rustler way. Adam has been a cabinet maker for over 35 years, let him explain the attention to detail on the master berth of our new Rustler 41 Motor Yacht Beautiful boats, built beautifully Visit http://rustleryachts.com to find out more #Rustleryachts #oceancruising #sailing #sailboat #yacht #sailing #offshorecruiser #boatbuilders #boat #handcrafted #bespokeyacht #semicustomyacht #handbuilt #cornwall
