We’ve just crossed the Atlantic — but the next leg might be even more dangerous. Between Cádiz and Gibraltar, orca whales have been attacking sailboats… and we’re heading straight through their territory. Our plan: stay close to shore, dodge fishing nets, and hope the orcas don’t find us. Then we’ll face the Strait of Gibraltar — one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world — where massive tankers and ferries surround our tiny sailboat. Sail with us as we navigate the gateway to the Mediterranean and continue our voyage toward Dubai. The journey has only just begun 🌊⚓️ #Sailing #SailingAdventure #StraitOfGibraltar #OrcaAttacks #SailingLife #SailingVlog #YachtLife #OceanAdventure #SailboatJourney#AtlanticCrossing #MediterraneanSailing #SailingToDubai #BluewaterSailing #AdventureSailing #SailWithUs #SailingCommunity #SailingYouTube #LiveaboardLife#bumsonaboat
ai generated from a photo of me on the boat. I think I'll be having fun with this, but all of YouTube is feeding the AI stories now and replacing real life shit because it's more entertaining. it's a fact. will life be more boring with ai? should I cover my face in definitely to avoid dups? to be more thrilling when I take off my face wrap? is it making me hide? ai wouldn't let me upload me in my bikinis due to rules, or whatever, so maybe having more regulations makes someone want to strip down to prove they exist and rebel. what's going on? or just don't care and sail away. audit trail: - 2025, thoughts uploaded from a real person playing with AI.
UK Sailmakers’ Head Sail Designer Pat Considine uses BSG Development’s FSI sail analysis program to help fine-tune his sail designs. The FSI program works like a virtual wind tunnel allowing Pat to make sure no section of the sail becomes overloaded, allows him to see how the flying shape changes with trim, mast bend, rig tune across a range of wind speeds. The program analyses how all the components of the boat’s rig and sails work together. In this video Pat talks about how he used the program to advance his sail designs for square top mainsails. At the end of the video analyzing the mainsail shape on the Mark Mills designed Cape 31, Pat said, “Anyone who got a square top mainsail design this year benefited from the Cape 31 study. It helped improve the group’s designs for square top mainsails.” This is just one more example of the technical tools UK Sailmakers uses to ensure our customers get the fastest sails possible.
