In 2012 my GP found lumps in my neck. They did an ultrasound and found t tumors growing on my thyroid. They did a fn aspiration and confirmed they were cancerous. I did not want to do radiation or have it removed surgically so I started a raw vegan diet. 13 months on the diet and 4 of the 5 tumors were completely gone. Mayo was astounded. They thought they had the wrong images when they compared them. The 5th tumor was pushing on my trachea and made it hard to talk and swallow. I decided to let Mayo Clinic remove my thyroid, 2 of my 4 parathyroids and a dozen lymph nodes that the cancer had spread to. I wish I could turn back time and get my thyroid back.
