Meet The Scrawled Filefish #aluterusscriptus is also known as the #broomtail #filefish or scribbled leatherjacket. They are unusual-looking fishes and are also masters of camouflage. They are able to rapidly change colors to blend into their local environment. The #Scrawledfilefish is not a common fish and is not often seen. On white sandy bottoms, they are able to turn white to match the sand and use a similar coloration when swimming in deeper blue water. Over #reefs, the color ranges from yellow to brown which makes them hard to spot, but this may possibly be a result of their excellent camouflaging abilities. ► The awards ceremony of the unmissable Multihull of the Year contest, organized by Multihulls World magazine and the International Multihull Show occurred during on April 12. On the first evening of the big multihull event at La Grande-Motte in the South of France, four of the nominees became winners. The event, presented by Emmanuel van Deth, our editor, and Gwen Dorning, our marketing director, was attended by 200 people and was shown in real time on social media and was of course the subject of a video. The 2023 WINNER’s banners were handed over to the shipyard representatives, and the winning multihulls being exhibited at the show were quick to get them on display!
