With the continued interest and increase of foiling opportunities at clubs around the country, Australian Sailing is working to develop programs and resources to support sailors and clubs to get involved with these new and exciting classes. We can break the foiling disciplines into 4 distinct classes, each with their own specific set of skills required, but all sharing the common trait of flying above the water on a hydrofoil. SKIPPER SMALL POWERBOAT | ONLINE COURSE - https://www.nauticed.org/powerboating-courses/view/skipper-small-powerboat When you bring in a small power boat back into the marina, typically you can just drive it straight into the slip, except for the situation when you've got a following wind. You can do it with light following wind, but if wind gets any stronger, you really need to consider doing a maneuver like this where we are going down past the slip, doing a turnaround, and then motoring back up into the wind and then driving the boat into the slip, going into the wind.
