Korte broek Opprett

A stingray materialising out of nothing. A banded eel that makes your brain double-take. An octopus that pulls time into slow motion. Then the ocean reminds you - loudly - that it’s very much alive. This isn’t a highlight reel. This is what it actually feels like down there. 👇 Come dive with us. - https://thejunk.com/

We're sailing off the coast of North Carolina after leaving Baltimore and stopping at Point Lookout Marina and Cape Charles in Virginia. We're heading for Charleston as the weather won't be in our favor for a few days, so we'll hang tight until it shifts. If you'd like assistance sailing your boat on a long passage, get in touch! We had some sporty conditions for our race Sunday out to R "2" and 1AH. Monday was more serene buoy races near the school. Come out and learn to sail and then join our KeelBoat Club. https://www.annapolissailing.com/courses/ #sailing #annapoils #sailingschool #annapolis

#RORCTransatlanticRace #RORCracing 📸 Balta Montaner “On day five we gybed away from the high pressure system, as was our strategy before the start,” commented Jasi’s navigator Tom Robinson via satellite from on board. “We’re watching closely to see how this plays out with the rest of the fleet that are dead downwind of Grenada. So far, we’ve been able to point straight at Grenada down the rhumb line at best speed. Conditions are good, 16 knots of wind and smooth seas. Every day is getting warmer."

Our new 17' Salish Voyager hit the water for the first time this week! While it's not done quite yet, this first rowing test helped us check the balance and make sure everything is working as designed before we finalize the interior. Even after only a few quick stokes of the oars it was clear... this boat is going to be a stellar traveler for long-distance journeys.
