The giant manta rays of Revillagigedo are unique in their desire to interact with divers. A diver maneuvers under the curious manta as we believe the mantas enjoy the feeling of the bubbles on his belly. He enjoys them so much that he does a somersault around the diver. Wow!

The Archipielago de Revillagigedo is home to seven species of sharks, playful bottlenose dolphins, inquisitive manta rays, and clouds of jacks, barracuda, and wahoo. From mid-February to mid-April, humpback whales visit this area offering guests opportunities for surface sightings and, when mother nature allows, a unique chance to see them underwater.
