The giant manta rays of Revillagigedo are unique in their desire to interact with divers. A diver maneuvers under the curious manta as we believe the mantas enjoy the feeling of the bubbles on his belly. He enjoys them so much that he does a somersault around the diver. Wow! Manta Point in central Komodo is a drift dive with a flat rubble bottom and usually great Manta sightings…..sometimes upto 50 on one dive !! The Manta come here to feed, clean and mate mostly from September through to April but sometimes year round. We often also see Marble Rays, Turtles, Reef Sharks and Blue Spotted Stingrays here as we drift along in the current.
