If you listen to the various discussions around the docks, you know that there is significant disparities among sailors concerning fixed docks and floating docks. For Toni and I, nothing beats a floating dock and we think most catamaran sailors would agree. Fixed docks required line adjustments, fender movements, and simply getting on and off the boat safely depends on the tides. However, a floating docks are a set it, and forget it. Guadalupe is an island with many different options of things to do and going by sailboat gives you the opportunity to explore the island in depth with so many different anchorages. In total we explored 6 different anchorages, visited 2 different waterfalls, explored a place with hot water, we dove into a protected reserve, Duca went surfing and we saw a whale while leaving the last anchorage.
