Still in Cape Town for Day 3. We started the day at the V&A Waterfront Marina; there, we were able to follow the finishing work being done on a Balance 442. This phase, which lasts about 10 days, includes setting the sails, checking the rigging, and finally the Owner's handover after that. Then, we were able to visit the Ullman Sails factory with Tony Strutt. Oggi è SABATO! Sabato significa che i pc restano chiusi e possiamo dedicarci COMPLETAMENTE all’esplorazione e al relax. Che gioia🥹 Iniziamo cercando un cantiere a cui chiedere un preventivo ma sono tutti chiusi, probabilmente in vista di Pasqua. D’altronde è weekend anche per loro. Vi capiamo. Allora ci dedichiamo al passeggiare, all’esplorare e con piacere scopriamo prima un ristorante che ci riporta con il cuore in Spagna e poi una marina che conserva tutta la bellezza, l’eleganza e l’armonia tipica degli inglesi. Ci viene una gran voglia di sederci a un tavolino e sorseggiare un tè con un goccio di latte 😂 Ci è piaciuta così tanto English Harbour che abbiamo provato a tornarci in barca, ma purtroppo non abbiamo trovato un ormeggio libero. Torneremo domani! Obiettivo? Affittare una deriva e fare un po’ di sano sport adrenalinico! 💪 Buon weekend a tutti! C.
