Ο άνεμος είναι ίσως το σπουδαιότερο μετεωρολογικό φαινόμενο που επηρεάζει τις δραστηριότητές μας στη θάλασσα, καθώς ο άνεμος είναι αυτός που διαμορφώνει το ύψος των κυμάτων και τη γενικότερη κατάσταση της θάλασσας. Ο ατμοσφαιρικός αέρας μπορεί να κινηθεί με δύο τρόπους είτε οριζόντια είτε κατακόρυφα. Εξ’ ορισμού άνεμο ονομάζουμε την οριζόντια κίνηση του ατμοσφαιρικού αέρα. Οι κατακόρυφες κινήσεις του ατμοσφαιρικού αέρα είναι αυτές που διαμορφώνουν θα λέγαμε τις καιρικές συνθήκες σε μία περιοχή. Έτσι η ανοδική κίνηση είναι αυτή που συμβάλει στη δημιουργία νεφών και το αντίθετο η καθοδική κίνηση. Στο συγκεκριμένο βίντεο θα δούμε αναλυτικότερα την οριζόντια κίνηση του ατμοσφαιρικού αέρα. Here comes the HIGHS and LOWS of boatlife! I mean the highs are great, let's go sailing, enjoy the sunshine, see some dolhpins you know... BUT today isn't about the highs! Today is about the frustrating moments, the moments when you want to set your boat on fire an be done with it! Looking back it's funny, how this tiny bit of wood rot turned into this huge are of deck that needed replacing, and months and months of work and trying to figure out how to go about it, Please don't forget, I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing here, so many times I have to do one job 2-3 times before its good enough (thats some of the very low lows.... very frustrating!) It is great to see the progress and I am sure for some part of it there are a million better ways to go about my boat repairs, but hey this is my afternoon hobby, i dont have all day every day I can't spend that much time on her and also this is happening on a budget.
