Learn how to tie the Double Fishermans knot in a matter of seconds. The Double Fishermans knot is a great knot for joining two ropes of equal diameter. The additional turns in the main part of the knot provide some benefits over the single Fishermans knot, making it more secure when not under load while making it easier to undo after it has been under load. The additional loops in the double fishermans knot does result in a larger knot, if this create and issue then revert to the standard or single Fishermans knot. It has been busy at Lyman-Morse. This week we installed both the deck for the Hood35LM and the LM46. The Hood35LM is a 35' express motoryacht with a cold-molded hull with a carbon deck. The LM46 is the second hull in this cold-molded performance cruiser series. Both are scheduled for a late-spring launch. We look forward to sharing more soon. Much credit goes to the crew who made this process look easy!
