Ocala, Florida, is known as the "Horse Capital of the World" because it has more horses than any other county in the United States. Si l’alizé ne s’est pas montré très vigoureux, réduisant à portion congrue les régates à la voile au profit de convoyages au moteur, la bonne humeur était bien au rendez-vous. L’objectif des Echappées Belles est d’ailleurs avant tout de passer un moment convivial, de s’amuser sur l’eau, de profiter de belles escales tout en rencontrant de nouveaux équipages, de découvrir des spécialités locales et de partager des anecdotes, des histoires de mer.
