NYYC American Magic Head Coach, Tom Burnham, discusses the importance of practice and training for creating a winning mindset: “One of the biggest pieces of being mentally prepared is to have lived through a lot of the maneuvers and tactical situations already. We are actively trying to expose the team to as many situations as possible so when it comes up in real life it’s going to be easier to manage.”
This is the 🥨 Ground-Line Hitch which is more secure than the Clove Hitch. It's a great knot for tying fenders to guardrails. Fenders are expensive, so more secure is good! 🔸 Wind the rope around the rail and cross over diagonally. Come back around the rail again, pass across diagonally again and tuck into the first loop. 🔸 It's pretty easy when you get the hang of it. You can also make a bight (loop) in the working end before the very last tuck if you want a quick release version. 🔸 #sailing #multihulls #catamarans #knots #ropes #hitch #groundhitch #learnknots #learntosail #katschool #knot #rope #lovesailing #sailinglife #katamarans #katknots

Large, safe, convenient, free anchorage. There are many options and wherever you drop the anchor it will be good. Depending of your boat size you can chose between 3m and up to 20m........ more info on: www.wesailcroatia.com We are skipper and hostess (available for hire), promoting sailing and naturist style of holidaying in Croatia. If you are a sea gipsy, a real sailor (I mean, sailing, not motoring your way), and like to stay away from main charter routs and marinas … this might be the right place for you. We sail 8 m boat on a tight budget, so we explore and look for all nice places where we can anchor without paying overpriced buoy fields and marinas. Local villages, restaurants, water and food supply.... If you find our website useful, please support us so we can continue exploring and sharing . And we might get better.... hopefully. www.patreon.com/sailingcroatia www.wesailcroatia.com info@wesailcroatia.com
