We are on day two of our passage in the Gulf Stream. Our parents said our boat is hauling quickly through the water from 2 to 4 knots of current in the direction we are traveling. We got incredibly lucky sailing through Hervey Bay when these 2 whales swam towards the boat, we stopped the boat and these whales put on a phenomenal show for 40 minutes. They seemed very inquisitive and genuinely interested in us.
