Bei der Überführung der Segelyacht “Makani”, einer Sigma 38 von Korfu nach Rhodos vom 8. bis 13. April und am 16. April nach Marmaris ist alles anders, was man sonst vom Segeln in Griechenland kennt. This squall line really hit us by surprise. It was a wall of rain and almost 80 knot gusts that hit us full force. Unfortunately the holding in Black Sound at Green Turtle Cay wasn't the greatest and boats started dragging. Cory had to start driving on anchor trying to steer into the wind while taking pressure off the tackle. We ended up wrapping our chain onto a mooring ball in this madness which kept us in place. We faired far better than some, losing outboards boats dragging on moorings and some aground in the area. Luckly only our bow roller got bent and that was all. What an adventure! #shorts
